Lost in the Weeds but still Searching!

2014 is my year to quit lurking and become an active participant on Illustration Friday: http://illustrationfriday.com/

New Directions for the New Year

After surviving a busy, hectic holiday season, it’s easy to justify kicking back a little, but be careful how you choose to spend your time! Add an Arctic air mass, blizzard warnings and single degree temperatures into the mix and you might find your well deserved couple days of relaxation turn into a longer stretch of pure laziness and inactivity.

2014 is here — and for me that means developing new ideas, starting new paintings, sculptures, and projects, and establishing a road map to follow throughout the year.

In general, the term “slacker” doesn’t apply to me — but when it comes to this blog, it fits me to a T! To make things worse, I’m a rotten cheat! For the past few months I’ve been making regular Saturday posts to the Buffalo Etsy Team Blog. You can find my posts and many interesting posts by talented Buffalo Etsy Team members here:

So — what sorry excuse do I have for myself? Well, I’ve been kind of busy…

Creating new work:

Making promotional videos for my Facebook Page :

And updating this blog & filling in missing information, including my Summer 2013 show schedule and a Work in Progress section.

So cut me some slack! Stop back, come see what’s new, follow me on facebook and come to a summer show. Even slackers need some love sometimes 🙂
