Multiple Meanings

I’m finishing a new small painting that is packed with emotion. I’m sure I will be asked, more than once 🙂 — “What does it mean?”

Does it matter?

I know what this painting means to me. In truth, it has multiple meanings — but I don’t think they should matter to the viewer.

What do you see in this painting? How does it make you feel. That’s what matters!

Unintended Paintings…….

I made three masks each for two of the characters in my “UnMasking The Stranger” painting (see previous post HERE). I really liked the first masks but they just DID NOT work. As for the second round — well — um — hmmmm, they may served well as paper weights.

Here are the two paintings I created for those first masks. I think we all know people who fit the bill…..

57th Annual Allentown Art Festival

The Allentown Art Festival has always marked the start of summer in Buffalo. Located in the historic Allentown District, the show features around 450 artists, many local, many from across the country. The official show hours are 11am – 6pm.
