One of my favorite things about the early months of the year is working on new paintings. I started this painting (Celebration, acrylic paint with synthetic clay accents, 40″ (w) x 30″ (h) in the summer of 2013. I laid out the basic scene and then……it sat, until New Year’s Eve day of 2015!
